Grief, Anxiety, Relationships & Life Transitions

“The curious paradox is that when I accept myself just as I am, then I can change.”
Carl Rogers
Healing and growth are best fostered through a strong therapeutic relationship and an environment where you feel safe, understood, and supported. I believe that you are the expert in your own life, and my role as your therapist is to walk alongside you as you explore your experiences, understand your emotions, and move toward meaningful change.
My approach to therapy is rooted in person-centered and psychodynamic perspectives, particularly attachment theory. I integrate mindfulness, motivational interviewing, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) skills to support clients in developing greater self-awareness, emotional balance, and resilience.
I am a Certified Developmental and Relational Trauma Therapist (DARTT). Developmental and Relational Trauma Therapy focuses on how early life experiences and relational patterns shape emotional regulation, identity, and relationships. Through this work, clients can begin to recognize patterns that developed in response to past experiences and reconnect with their Functional Adult self in the present. I incorporate aspects of DARTT into much of my therapy practice.
I also incorporate somatic and polyvagal-informed approaches when appropriate, helping clients better understand the connection between their nervous system, emotions, and relationships.
I have experience working with grief and loss, anxiety, depression, relationship concerns, and major life transitions. I especially enjoy supporting young adults, college students, and individuals navigating important changes in relationships, identity, and life direction.
