Many people come to therapy feeling overwhelmed, stuck, disconnected from themselves, or unsure how to navigate the next stage of life. Therapy can offer a space to slow down, better understand yourself, and begin approaching life with more clarity, confidence, and self-compassion.
I work with adults navigating anxiety, life transitions, relationship concerns, identity exploration, perfectionism, career stress, burnout, and the pressure to “have it all together.” I especially enjoy working with college students, young professionals, men, athletes, and individuals navigating major periods of transition and self-discovery.
My approach to therapy is warm, collaborative, and grounded in authenticity. I believe meaningful change happens when people feel emotionally safe enough to explore themselves honestly without fear of judgment. Therapy with me is often conversational, reflective, and at times humorous. I strive to create an environment that feels comfortable, approachable, and low-pressure while still encouraging growth and insight.
I strongly believe that many of the thoughts, emotions, and behaviors we struggle with are not signs that something is “wrong” with us, but rather adaptations that once helped us navigate difficult experiences. I approach clients with curiosity, compassion, and respect for the ways they have learned to survive and cope throughout their lives.
My work integrates psychodynamic therapy, narrative therapy, mindfulness, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and positive psychology. I am especially interested in helping clients better understand the stories they tell themselves about success, relationships, identity, and self-worth. Together, we work toward developing greater self-awareness, emotional flexibility, and confidence navigating the complexities and “grey areas” of life.
I frequently support clients in navigating modern-day dating, communication challenges, boundary-setting, and attachment patterns. Whether you’re feeling frustrated with dating, unsure how to express your needs, or noticing recurring relationship patterns, therapy can help you better understand yourself and create more fulfilling connections.
I also have a growing interest in Developmental and Relational Trauma Therapy (DARTT) and plan to pursue certification through Healing Our Core Issues Institute. I am particularly drawn to understanding how subtle or overlooked relational experiences during childhood can shape emotional patterns, self-concept, and relationships later in life.
I offer therapy services to adults ages 18+ at our Downtown location and virtually.
