Sometimes life is beautiful and energizing, sometimes painful and overwhelming, and sometimes stagnant and colorless. I believe we need to contribute equally to the health of our mind, body, and soul to create a balanced and fulfilled life. There are times we thrive on our own, and other times if we listen to our inner voice, we are led to seek the support we deserve. I believe we hold unique qualities, characteristics and beliefs, that make us unlike anyone else. I work with clients to identify and cultivate their innate strengths and resources, to inspire positive changes towards a more balanced and meaningful life.
In the midst of stress, loss, and trauma it is common to develop unhealthy patterns in thoughts and behaviors. Without conscious change, these patterns can increase in intensity, as a reminder of emotions and experiences not resolved. I assist clients with identifying, accepting, and ultimately shifting thoughts and behaviors that hinder growth and self-compassion. I aim to create a safe and accepting space for clients to examine and collaboratively identify a plan towards change. I understand how culture, spirituality, and religion may impact your journey. As an art therapist, yoga and meditation teacher, I frequently support clients through processes involving creativity and movement to unlock inner wisdom, unconscious material, or content that is difficult to verbalize.
I offer therapy services for adults (ages 18+) in individual sessions only at this time.
Areas that I treat:
- Anxiety & Depression
- Women’s Issues
- Grief & Loss
- Career Counseling
Other areas of interest:
I have trained and worked extensively with Art Therapy to assist clients in opening their minds and coping through creativity.
MINDFULNESS & SOMATIC THERAPIES
As an art therapist, yoga, and meditation teacher, I frequently support clients through processes involving creativity and movement to unlock inner wisdom, unconscious material, or content that is difficult to verbalize. Whether you are struggling with self-esteem concerns, motivational issues, or something more complex, mindful awareness is the basis for all of our work together.
